The best program, bar none, for backing up SecuRom is BlindWrite5 along with BW5 Tweaker. Of course your burner needs to be up to the task as well
with A-ray scanner on U.S. 6 CD version it was 5.03 i will post pic ASAP P.S. what kind of settings should the tweaker have. I have the bwa so i just need recomended settings for non plex drive. Also my drives are 2 sheep burner thx VG
WOW interesting.... mine said 5.02 ... they might have made a quick modification a bit of the way through If you need to backup a SecurROM game, note that (the more recent games especially) are quite hardware dependent and for the best chance at being able to backup such games effectively, you need a 2-sheep burner (for more information on this 2-sheep 'rating' and if your burner qualifies, visit http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/45121 ). Some guides have been prepared to help you backup your SecureROM games: (using Alcohol120) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/43802 (using CloneCD) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/26771 .... also, a favorite and highly effective tool is to use an application called BlindWrite (available at http://www.cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_applications/blindwrite_suite.cfm ) _X_X_X_X_X_[small]ASUS A7N8X-X, XP2500+ OC'd to XP3200+ Samsung 1024MB, PC2700 OC'd to PC3200 480GB [3x160GB, 7200, 8MB] EVGA, GeForce4 Ti4600 128MB Rules and Policies: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2487[/small]
BW5 makes it's own so you don't need a separate BWA. For SecuRom, I usually set Tweaker to: Read - 8X Write - 4X Always extract topology Extract topo at 8X All other settings default. These settings may be a good place to start but if it doesn't work try tweaking them around
