Best Programs to View VCD/ SVCD

    What's the best programs to watch these? Because sometimes i download movies but I don't want to waste 2 cds to burn it and i just mount it instead and watch it.

    For VCD movies (AVI or MPEG-1), BSPlayer (freeware!) is excellent. But it cannot load the MPEG-2 files (SVCD). Maybe WMP can, but I never tested it. I only saw in WMP's help: "To play .mp2v files (please note: these are MPEG-2 video only files) you must have a software or hardware DVD decoder installed on your computer."

    A rather cheap solution for SVCD movies it to buy 2 CD-RWs. You make 2 SVCDs, watch the movie, then re-use the CD-RWs for the next SVCD.
