Hi folks... I work at a post production facility and we are starting to get requests from clients, after we do music videos, to convert them so they can put them on their Ipods. The problem is the quality of the conversions. The best we have had so far is right out of quicktime, but it isn't great and takes long. We have also tried Podner, Squint, etc. I have come to the experts to see if anyone knows of a program or procedure that gives you the absolute best quality and true color for the Ipod. Size of final product isn't a big deal. We have both PC and Mac. We tried a couple of programs for PC and got line breakups in the video. On Mac, we get over saturated blacks and flicker. Any help would be great.
Hello and welcome to the iPod forums on AfterDawn.Com. The program I use for maximum quality and efficiency is PQDVD. The program is extremely easy to use and versatile, and I highly recommend it. You have to pay for the program, but you can download a free trial here, and give it a try. http://www.pqdvd.com/dvd-to-ipod-video-converter.html If you get stuck or have any more questions, please don't hesitate to post back.
