I have a 3DS XL, running the latest 7.0.0-13 firmware. I'd like to purchase a flashcart, but my only portable is the 3DS XL, obviously, I'd like to avoid having to buy a new cart every time there is a software update, so I'd like to research my best options here. Be cautious: There getting closer and closer to perma blocking flash carts and what does suck is the dsi xl on the latest firmware will disable you nintendo shop access and even your access to multiplayer had it happen on mine!! However there is a solution !!! To get your stuff that you had purchased from the store on the DSI transfer the dsi account to a 3ds and your account will be restored and your downloads will be available.
