I've tried dvdxcopy and clonedvd2 so far, both i've had problems with as they burn fine but the discs don't work around 3/4 way through

there is a ton of other tools i could try from here but i am trying to see if someone can recommend one's that will rip and burn so i dont have to use several different things to make it as painless as possible as i have alot of dvd's to backup

Also look at the quality of the media you are attempting to burn to and the speed at which you are burning.

Stick with quality media such as Verbatim, Ritek or TY - do not burn above 4x and do not use labels on your burnt DVDs.

Try an el cheapo (Asian) unit for playback.

DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink are an excellent combination.
