hi guys i've always been a user of rip it 4 me version 1.5.6.0 for a long time and now i found a new version 1.7.1.0 and i noticed that this version doesnt use fix Vts anymore cause the new version has his own fix vts included, so basiclly my question is: which is better to back up the newest dvd movies ? -rip it 4 me 1.5.6.0 (needs fix vts software, which can be updated) or -rip it 4 me 1.7.1.0 (already has his own fix vts software) thanks in advance for all your help.....
1.7.1.0 has FixVTS built into it and is the preferred version. It is the same as 1.5.6.0 with the exception that FixVTS isn't a stand alone program, but is incorporated. 1.7.1.0 is more updated too so it would be preferred. EDIT: FixVTS was brought down with R4M and won't be updated anymore in the future, so the version that is included in 1.7.1.0 is the last version that will be seen.
