What is the best way and the best programs to Convert 16:9 HD mkv file into a 4:3 on a DVD? What method is everyone using I'm trying to keep as much quality as I can of course. Thank you
DVD Flick accepts .mkv files. A standalone DVD player will show the 16:9 movie in letterbox on a 4:3 display. The quality will be mpeg2. ConvertXtoDVD may output something better - but it's not free.
i usually use WinAVI 8.0 to convert, it support mkv, avi, rmvb, Can choose the dvd/vcd/mpeg output, aspect ratio can change too.
