Best way to watch Movies from HDD using XBMC?

    Hey guys....I just started using XBMC (lovin' it) and I was wondering what the best method is to watch DVD movies from the HDD?

    What is the best format and application to use when ripping a dvd to the Xbox? Thanks guys!

    To put the movie on your xbox you could use dvdshrink and ftp the file over or just you dvd2xbox directly on the console itself.

    Movies take up a lot of space i'll rather use that space for games. I do however put avi and divx movies on my x box they are 400-900 mb max.

    Dude...you rule! Thank you for suggesting dvdshrink. Awesome little program. That is the solution to my problem.


    Thank you also...I wasn't aware the xbox could handle those formats! Nice!

    with dvd shrink I just copy over the actual movie and none of the extras. It has reauthoring tools.
