better encoder?

    whice is better tempgenc or cce?

    CCE will give you higher quality MPEG-2 than TMPGEnc in less time, but TMPGEnc is easier to use and has features that CCE doesn't have (nothing you can't do with a little bit of AviSynth scripting though). OTOH if you're encoding to MPEG-1 CCE can't touch TMPGEnc's quality.
