OK...i got mine to work FINALLY. First check out seamonkey's tut on how to make sure it is set up right.

    http://www.geocities.com/seamonkeyguides/xbox.html

If you have XP...goto your NIC's properties, and under Authentication, make sure NOTHING is checked. Once i unchecked the TOP one, it FTP'd right up. Hope it helps u.

This authentication bit maybe the problem I am having.

Nice one. I'll try it out tonight....

Someone really should put together a page that details all these things in one place. I have been looking around for suggestions for ages.

Just to confirm, when you say you were having problems before the authentication fix, were you just getting the timeout problem?

Are you using a router or a cross-over cable?

Still no luck even without the Authentication turned off.

    Man this is getting annoying!

    Anymore ideas?
