Hello everyone, Im not very sure where to post this thread, so im hopping im at the right place. I need big help. Its been over 1 month now, that my computer keeps rebooting by itself! Its not the windows activation thing that makes you reboot. This is not like a regular reboot. Basicly, its like if I run out of power in my house, then gets back up! I didnt find any really "moments" when it happends the most. It can reboot when im browsing, chatting on msn, playing wc3 or even listening to a movie! Can anyone PLZZZZzzz help me out! Thank you very much!
Just to start off simply, lets assume that the PC is overheating and crashing. First pop open the side of your case and clean out all the dust that may have accumulated over time. Be sure to clean out the areas like all the fans, around the CPU, around the hard-drives, and around the PSU.
Sure do its called SpeedFan. It lists the temp for the CPU, harddrives, add-in cards, etc. Can tell you what condition your harddrivers are in,etc. A very handy tool, and its free!
