I take pics at shows for a band. here is a link to my pics page http://www.lovinglynam.com/gallery

All the pics from the Harveys show and under were taken with an Olympus C-720 camera. I loved this camera, but it broke, and I am looking for a new one. I am looking for a camera that has a high zoom 10-12 Optical...that will take good pics in low light settings. The Olympus cameras have an adjustment for the flash, but I havent been able to find another camera that does. Anyone know of one? I have been reading reviews out the wazoo and it just keeps getting more difficult. Anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would recommend Canon Rebel (or Canon D20 if you need absolutely perfect low light) + telelens.

However it is hard to suggest anything without knowing how much you can spend for the camera and how compact you want it to be. I do not know any ZLR cameras that have decent low light as all of them have small CCD sensors. Try to search archives on http://www.photokb.com. They must have lots of threads about it.

Thanks. I am looking to spend under $400 (I know, not much to work with) Dont really care about the size of the camera...
