I have 2 cd files on my hard drive and when I tied to burn them with nero error message read not enough space on disc. I tried to burn onto a dvd disc but to no avail. Any ideas on what to do with these files would be much appriciated as my kids are nagging me for this one.

    1. What version of Nero (the whole number, with all the little numbers too please)
    2. How big is the image?
    3. Did you enable overburn? (File --> Preferences --> Expert)

HAHA I knew it! Heehee, score one for Praetor! :D Nero 6.0015 has a bug in it that it does not support overburning regardless of whether u check that box or not :) A simple upgrade (or downgrade) will fix that for ya

Depends on the folder/file structure of the images. I can guarantee that you can burn the contents of one CD into a folder on that DVD and the contents of the other cd into another folder but anything more than than that is not guaranteed and I would bet that it wont result in soemthing you want. :) Just stick to two cds, its easier that way :)

Thanks for your help Praetor, I upgraded and then managed to burn with the over burn working. I then copied both discs back to my hard drive and then authored and burnt the dvd with nero vision express. so now I have a DVD with chapters an all, happy days matey.

I'm using Nero 6.3.1.6 and when going to File > Preferences > Expert, and turning overburning on, for some reason I'm still not able to overburn. It gives me an error saying there is not enough disk space still.

The option I selected for overburning is the only one available, though I have to enter minutes and seconds. I've entered the max possible, and still no luck.

The file I'm trying to burn is 794 megs.

    Any help? I'd appreciate it.

    1. For 700MB discs, overburn yeilds, for the average person, AT MOST, 20-30MB.

    2. For people who have 800 and 900MB discs, overburn allows you to burn those discs to the full capacity (although im not sure if nero supports this functionality)

    3. At 794MB are you sure its not a VCD? Those movies are supposed to be roughly that size.

Oh a game... BIN files for datacds have a LOT of overhead meaning the cd is prolly just 700MB like normal. Go ahead and burn it! (just burn it slow :))

Oh and i should mention -- dont use Nero to burn 'fancy' images like that. Try Alcohol120 or CDRWIN5 -- much more suited for the job
