i'm using nero buring rom ultra 6.0.0.19 and i'm trying to burn my bin files.when i'm about to burn it says that the total capacity for burning is 702mb but i only got 701mb on the cd.so i proceed with overburning but now i can't read the disc(not on my comp, not on my dvd player).i checked nero and the setting for overburn is set on 82min which should be more than enough for 1mb.i also got the plextor 12/10/32a cd recorder which can also do overburning.i even tried converting the bin to an iso file but the blank cd is spit out because it's not big enough before burning.
i want to burn this SVCD onto a 80 min cd.how do i get this to work?aaaarrrrgggghhhh

Tsk tsk, you did'n read the 'sticky' thread. The max size of an image you can burn on a 700 MB disk is
SIZE=700*2352/2048 f oy do 'burn image'.
700 MB is the max size of a FILE but since an image doesn't have EDC and ECC (error dedection/correction codes)you should be OK even avoiding overburn.
Byt do you have its related cuesheet? (the small text .CUE file with the seme name of the .BIN file, open if with Notepad). It shout 'teach' your burner how to burn the .BUN (es.TRACX 01 -> AUDIO, MODE1 and MODE2) which defines the size of each 'sector' you fill in the CD. Images or audio files are often MODE1/2352, video files are often MODE2/2336 simple files backups MODE1/2048. Tell me, please.

well my image file is 805MB which after using your formula calculates to 701mb.does that mean i can't avoid overburning
and no i don't have the related cue file.didn't come with it and i can't find it.should i be creating one myself?i've examined the internal of the bin file and it contains the single movie file for the dat folder.so is it going to be a 4 line cue file.and what mode do i use for SVCD?Mode1 or 2 and 2352 or 2048

yeah i've created my cue file using that cuecreator.when i get to the burn compilation of nero,i checked on the info tab and it says that the size of the track is 702mb.so does that mean i can't avoid overburning.as i said before,my burner can overburn and the overburning setting is 82min but i got a useable disc after the overburn last time so i do want to avoid overburn
