I have an 849 meg bin/cue file (program not movie) that was made from a dvd. Whenever I try to use nero to burn it to dvd, it demands I use a cd, but it won't fit on a cd. I have selected dvd at the beginning of nero, I don't know what else to do. Any help?

Those instructions are only for burning a bin to cd, I've done that a thousand times. How do I get a bin to burn to a dvd? Nero keeps telling me I have the wrong kind of disk to burn the bin, do I have a setting wrong somewhere? Has anyone here burnt a bin to a dvd? I know that this bin was made from a dvd. I'm still stuck on this one. Games coming out on dvd is relatively a new thing, so I haven't been able to find any resources on this problem. That answer just won't work, but thanks for trying.

I figured this one out, finally, so, I thought I would post the answer for anyone who might need it.
If you have a program you want to burn to dvd and it is a bin, Nero will not do it. However, it just needs to be converted. I used 'Extract Now' to extract the bin file to a folder. I then used Nero to burn the extracted file as a Nero image file (.nrg) back to the hard drive. I was then able to burn the Nero image to a dvd. Problem solved. Hope this helps someone else.

rick, I use winrar to extract, then nerovision express 2, it works that way to dvd. Nero is one of the best programs out there for bin/cue files.

So, what program did you use after extracting it with WinRar? Am I suppose to make a nrg file with Nero then burn onto DVD?

Nerovision Express 2, it's in the Nero ultra 6 package. You need to download ultra 6 update packs 1,2, and 4 if you haven't already. Once in nve 2 open make dvd, then on the drop down menu choose dvd-video, then click on add files, if you have more than one folder, add each one at a time and when done u can create chapters, then create a menu, since bin/cue files won't have one. One other thing, you must also have the dvd video plug for nve2 to convert the files. It should come with it when you register nve2, also be sure and register recode and burn express. U just enter your ultra 6 purchase # for each.
