there is an increasingly greater number of private trackers that are banning this client,so for any of you using it,i suggest you change pretty quick, thats if you hadnt seen the announcements already

for any of you wanting to know why,its because of the DHT option it has,and the fact that BITCOMET apparently doesnt honour the "private flag",placed within the torrent file, that informs bitcomet that they do not wish there files to be shared on the DHT network

you may ask why is this a bad thing....???

well, its because users who are not members of a private community,(private torrent site),can enable DHT and connect to the tracker, thus leech off the files that are being shared amongst the users of that particular site, thus the users of the private site may have there upload amount stolen by someone whom is not registered on that particular site

you may say, well this is a good thing....

well it can be,if you use public sites, and dont give a damn...,as enabling DHT sometimes allows the downloading to continue,if the original tracker is down

btw, azureus offers the same option of DHT,but they are said to honour the "private flag",and dont not allow others non-registered users to connect..

it has its pro's and con's.......
