Black Boarder When Watching 16:9 on a 16:9

    I have a black boarder all around my screen when watch 16:9 widescreen divx/xvid videos on my laptop. My laptop's screen is a 16:9 widescreen. I know there are different aspect ratios so i might have black line at the top and bottom but i have them on the sides as well. I think it is codec problem but i don't know which one, i have tried searching but i have found nothing so far.

    I would be greatful for anyone help.

    What player, etc.?

    i happens with all players, i have tried: winamp, bsplayer, windows media player, powerDVD

    Have you tried mplayer, VLC or Media Player Classic?

    yeh i have tried Media Player Classic, but i'll try VLC.
