Black lines

    I've a video file and there is black lines on the left and right side of the pictures. Is there any way to remove them?

    It's 24 and it's like the line you have in movies but instead of being at the top and bottom there at the left and right (the movie is in 4:3 so there should no line when i'm in fullscreen

    it could be a bad copy or tv rip

    some programs like vdub or tempgenc let you do cropping, so you can try that if you like
