I have no idea how I did this nor how to change it, but I converted a project (twice) from avi (premier) to supposedly DVD using tmpgenc plus 2.5. for some reason the output video is for the realone player. when I burn to dvd I get a black screen but audio. any idea where in the menu is it that realone is chosen? I can't find it!!!!

for some reason my output is always "m2v+wav" I can't seem to get it to be mpg. I can't unclick the "output video and audio as elementary....". It won't let me.

The output m2v+wav is correct for standard dvd authoring. You should want an elementary stream m2v and wav file (or dolby ac3 audio) to use in your dvd authoring program. Don't know why you would want to change it if you plan on using those files in your authoring program. Does your dvd authoring program only use multiplexed (mpg) files?

I'm going to say yes, that they accept it. Reason is I use the Tmpgenc DVD author 1.6. I would imagine that if it is the same company, that it would work.

oops, misunderstood your question. What I should have said is that since Iuse a tmpgenc dvd authoring program, it should be no problem. I always understood DVD to be only Mpeg - 2. Not m2v, either way, ........ black screen with audio

Is it possible that nero doesn't accept m2v? I use tmpgenc dvd 1.6's dvd burning tool, but isn't that ta link to NERO? therefore, the audio goes, but the video doesn't?

I just tried using the premier pro video plug-in from video tools, directly to tmpgenc... It worked for some reason. Maybe I checked something in tmpeg that doesn't get checked by going the other route. I don't understand it , but it works for me that way.
