I burned 1 Episode(350mb) of a series onto a DVD disc and then played it on my Phillips DVP5140 , however its coming out blocky and pixelated ,

what is the point of a divx player when the quality is crap
all i did was burn the episode as data using divx player??

i know its something to do with the compression, but ive heard of people putting 12 episodes on a dvdr disc and it plays fine??

    any help
    thnks
    Gareth

The problem may also stem from the media. Memorex is the least thought of media on this forum, most posts refer to it as Memosux. The best media is Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or those made in Japan and keep your burns around 4x or 1/2 the rated speed of the disc.
