Hey guys, So I am thinking into getting a blu-ray burner so I can start backing up some movies I own, (I would be pissed if they wouldn't play anymore) and I am undecided on a drive. Ideally, I want a cheap one, but I want a drive that would be able to read and burn anything necessary. I was looking on new egg, and I was hoping you could let me know if these two are ok. It would be used to backup any blu-ray movie I wanted, so I don't want a burner that can only do like 2/3 (like if I were to buy a dvd burner, but it can't burn dual layer). So ehre's what I'm looking at: The Lite on The Phillips or the LG So any opinions? Or is there a drive on here I didn't list which I would really need instead of any of these? Thanks guys
also, are these capable of dual layer blu ray burning? or like I said, is there another drive I would need? thanks
I was thinking about getting a Lg Blu ray burner but im going to wait as the blank media still not where i want it to be and im hoping prices go down in the next several months. I checked pricegrabber.com for ggw-h20 and so far this place is the cheapest ive found. ps ive never ordered from that merchant before so i know nothing of them http://www.nowdirect.com/exec/partInfo/part_detail.tsb?prcpart=LGOGGW-H20L
not only cheapest one it burn upto 6x to bd-r and it will burn bd-dl and on the box it says 3-4 layers for future i got it iam loving it
