Blu-Ray conversion to regular dvd?

    Is it possible to take a blu-ray movie and "convert" it to a DVD format to play in a standard DVD player. I know i can create smaller HD versions to play on my PS3 but would also like to watch some of my BD movies on my standard dvd player in the other room? ANy help please

    Hi Zeno,

    I have converted Blu ray movies to Wmv files in the past to stream through my xbox360 using a program called allok. This converts into many formats so there should be no reason why you cant convert to an AVI etc.This is my first reply to anything on this site so I hope it helps.

    I want to take my blu-ray movies and fit it on one DVD disk. ONe that is playable in a standard dvd player.. Not xvid or divx. Standard dvd format.

    This appears to be a commercial application. Are you advertising it or sending people to look for its crack?? There are plenty of free version out there than can do the same including some that can do what most people want, a decent compression to a single layer or dual layer disc.

    Guys, this application has no AACS or BD+ decrypting abilities...so what you would be paying for is simply a conversion tool, which as Sohp stated, can be had for free. Please carry on with out the talk of cracks etc.
