Blu-ray on HDTV

    hey im new here. is there anyway to use an external blu-ray drive on an HDTV.

    What do you mean by external blu-ray drive. If you mean a blu-ray drive with a usb or sata connection then i believe no as the HDTV does not have the software and drivers to run the blu-ray drive. I think you will have to go with a blu-ray player. Obviously the best on the market in terms of price has to be the PS3.
