Blue Ray with Samsunh LNS4051 40

    Before I make a costly mistake, wanted to get some educated opinions on this one- i recently purchased the Samsung 40" hd lcd- I now am considering a blu-ray player but am concerned that since the specs on the tv say 1081i as opposed to the better 1080p, it may not be worth buying the blu ray player and I may want to consider the slightly less expensive HD DVD player. Any thoughts on this?? will the picture quality on the blu ray still be worth while on my set?

    There is virtually no detectable diffrence between 1080i & 1080p...you will not be able to tell the diffrence...I would go with HD/DVD over Blue Ray...I think it will be the more adopted format...
