bluray movie burning method

    hi
    if any one is living in chicago
    fry's having a sale on bd-r(25gb0 for $10.00 each
    i think its a good price since the new movies atleast most of them are in 25gb
    i think its a good to backup originals

    now my question i have vista w/bd-r burner
    power2go software

    now can i burn the backup rips as a data bluray w/udf2.5
    am i able o play on ps3 and standalone (since i don't own any)

    First off I don't live CHI, but that is a really good deal, but most of the newer Blu-Ray movies exceed 25 Gb, so you might want to go with 50 Gb media, also I personally buy Rewritable discs, so that I can get the most for my money. As far as your question about will your PS3 play back-ups, I don't see why it wouldn't. My 60 Gb has no problem Playing burned BD-R's, But I use NERO 8 and burn as an image file. So I don't know if the method you were asking about will work or not.

    i tried it in my friends ps3 it works

    i wonder if standalone will take as a smooth spin
