    tk426,
If you have Nero, run Nero StartSmart>Tools>Nero CD-DVD Speed>Extra Tab>Bitsetting. For ImgBurn, run ImgBurn>Right click on your burner under destination>Change Book Type>Select your burner type>Under Change For, select the the type of DVD+ media you want>Under New Setting select DVD-ROM>Click Change.

Just a note, not all burners are capable of this feature/function.

Yes sir good catch. But, since it wasn't specified I just made the assumption that he/she has the capability.

Just an observation, but if tk426 could supply us with his burner model number we could determine it's capabilities.
