I'm new to booktyping so I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have a BenQ 1625 and I used Qsuite to booktype all media to DVD-ROM. After I did that all the media I burned wouldn't play, even my DVD-R's. When I put them in the DVD player nothing happened. So I switched everything back to how it was (DVD+R's to DVD+R, etc., etc.) And then just by curiosity I tried burning on the DVD-R's that were supposed to burned and booktyped already to DVD-ROM, and it worked so apparently when they never burned. I know it sounds confusing, but if anyone understands can you help me? Thanks. JM
You can only booktype DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD+R DL media ... It is not possible to booktype '-' format discs ...
I know I'm sorry let me rephrase. After I booktyped my drive to DVD-ROM for all media, both my DVD+R's and my DVD-R's that I burned after booktyping would not play in my DVD player. So while trying to redo the movies that were supposed to be booktyped to DVD-ROM (1 DVD+R, and 2 DVD-R's), I decided to put back in the same media that was supposed to be booktyped and already burned. It turns out the disks were blank because they burned fine when I booktyped my drive back to its original state. So how do I booktype my DVD+R's to DVD-ROM cause after I tried the first time none of my media would play after being supposedly burned and booktyped including my DVD-R's? Thanks. JM
