The stereo at a vacation house I rent plays some CDR's but not others. It occurs to me that the ones it DOES play were made by a friend of mine on his Mac, most likely straight copies of purchased CDs. My homemade CDR's, by comparison, are typically compilations of songs I ripped from LimeWire or other such sources. Do you think there's anything I can do to re-burn MY CDR's into a format that this stereo, really just a basic boombox, might play? Thanks for any help.
It could be the brand of disks. My rack mount cd player is quite picky.. assuming you are making an audio cd with nero, not something funky.
if that's it, it's hard to predict what might work...though i am currently using Sony discs and not the no-name ones. thanks.
i second the discs used, if it were me i would try some other brand, i use datawrite / datasafe ive seen a stereo system bomb out of some cdrs i used...
