I found a old computer and run DBAN on it, now I want to install Win 98 on it. I have the install CD but not the boot disc. How I make a boot disc.

I want it on a cd, not a floppy because the floppy drive doesn't work.

Windows 98 SE boots from the CD, no floppy needed. What version of 98 is it??

Allthe boot disk will do is load a command shell with drivers for the CD drive to work. Doesnt matter if its 98 or ME.

Absolutely. I use it all the time. In fact, the last version of FDISK which I use for smaller hard drives and DOS based OS installs, has support for large hard disks. Win98's version does not.

As DoubleDwn mentioned, the command shell is the same.
