Hi guys, I still didn't get to redo my system, "because i dont know how to make a boot disk" I'm told going to the website of the makers of my MotherBoard, i'll be able to download it. i've looked to no avail. I'm leaving this post to make a request to anyone that has time, and wants to check this out, " to possibly go to http://www.giga-byte.com/ to find out specifically where or how to", and let me know. I know this probably sounds pretty lame, but i cant afford to pay a tech at the time, and plus knowledge is power. So please, if any of use have the time, i'd greatly appreciate it. (P.S. I supposedly am able to make it out of cd of the motherboard, but again, dont know how. There is a couple ways to make a boot disk. Go to My Computer and right click on the A: drive and select Format. There should be an option to Create an MS DOS Startup Disk or something similar. Another option is to go to http://www.bootdisk.com/ and pick the boot disk you want
This link should take you to into gigabyte support for your sata driver (Silicon Image SATA driver): http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard/Support/Driver/Driver_GA-K8N Pro.htm download driver, if it is in zip format open it up into a folder on your desktop, copy file (not folder)to a floppy disk. windows installation disk is bootable so im not sure why you need to make one but here goes anyway: insert a blank floppy into your drive. click start. open my computer. r/click floppy drive icon to open sub menu. click format. tick box that says; create an ms-dos startup disk. click start. or go to microsoft support and download system boot disk for your os.

You can use the Command Prompt Start -> Run -> CMD Then type D: or what eva ur cd-rom is Then you can use the DIR command to view the files in that directory then you can use CD DIRNAME to open the Directory. eg you should open CMD and get C:/> now u want 2 go 2 the CD-ROM so type D:, now it should look like D:/> then u want 2 go to say the BootDRV directory so u would type CD BootDrv, then it will be displayed as D:/BootDrv> then you would type Menu Regards CoZZa
