Hey, i have a soft modded xbox that runs the Unleash X dashboard, however, i was wondering how to make a boot disk for it so that i could switch between the Unleash X and the MS dashboard so that i can still play on Live, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I have evox and I just backed up the ms dash and I reinstall that back over the evox. If you used one of the exploits I think you can get that option to uninstall it by turning on the system and leaving the disc tray open.
If u made an ms backup, put in the game u used to mod and reinstall ms dashboard and there, u have your ms dash beack.
so the ms dash board stopps working when you softmod your xbox... that explains why mine stopped working.. but how come when i copyed all my folders in the C drive from my xbox to my computer then back and then replaced the Msdash file with the one on my computer it started working again?
Well, what softmodding does is install and new modded dashboard to replace the default msdash. You should always back it up when you softmod using the game exploits so you can reinstall the msdash again if need be. This is especially important if you want to play on xbox live. Be very careful with that because if you go on with a modded dashboard you WILL be banned from all of xbox live.
