boot up problems

    When i boot up my xbox the status light flashes green/orange then turns itself off then on again but the light only flashes orange,then off and on again, this time it stays on but flashes orange. Nothing happens on my screen. I have read other similar postings but none of the possible solutions seem to help me. Can anyone offer any solutions?

    What kind of setup do you have?Using Modchip or exploits?

    Have you ever had ur xbox running normal w/mod,exploits?

    If it's a solderless adapter then make sure to clean the LPC points then alling chip.IF soldered they to change to a different bank.

    IF you disable chip does it boot up normal?

    i've managed to sort it now tnx. By pure luck more than anything else. I read that it was due to early xboxes having problems with solder on certain pins. I shorted 2 pins out & everything works ok again.

    Tnx for your rapid response though.
