boot up speed on laptop very slow

    i have a hp pavilion ze 4800 laptop and it takes about 5 minutes to boot up what can i do to make this go faster this is my system xp home editon version 2002 service pk 2
    moblie amd athlon(tm)xp 2800+ 2.12ghz , 192mb of ram


    any help would be greatful or but me in the right dir.

    Hey

    First off, 192mb of ram... i would think about upgrading that to start off with.

    Can you post a log of Hijackthis, you can get HiJackThis from www.download.com
