Bright videos when viewing in Showtime

    Whenever I view videos in Nero Showtime, they always appear extremely bright. When I attempt to lower the brightness, it wont allow me to move the sliders to adjust contrast and brightness. What is the problem here?

    i dont use showtime, have you tried other players and is it the same?

    i use powerDVD or WMP or a great free couple are VLC and zoom player

    okay i found out how to fix it in showtime, but now ive noticed that it does this for all of my video players, everything is very bright. is there any way of fixing this?
