I FTP'd a copy of Brothers in Arms over and made an iso out of it. All the files transfered over fine. I burned the copy but when i go to play it it just shows a black screen and wont load. I mean in my dashboard it shows it as a game, but for some reason it wont load it properly. im wondering if there is a file in there thats preventing it from loading it. What are some common files that prevent the load to happen? im thinking its like the default.xbe file's or something, but not sure. My burnt copy of Myst 3 wont work either. I think it has a block on it. I load it and then all of a sudden says "Your disc may be dirty or damaged..." and so on. I know some games have files on there games that prevent people from making copys. My friend helped me find the one in Fable, took us a while, but we found it. so if anyone could help that would be awesome! thanks
Few questions to ask ya... 1) What program are you using to FTP your game from your Xbox to PC? 2) Are you using the newest bios for your modchip? 3) Are you downloading the game first to your HD, and then FTPing it over? 4) What are you using to burn your ISO with?
