I just started using dvd decrypter to copy movies after trying a million diferent programs and it works it just takes forever... the read speed is at 0.8x and i know my drive can do atleast 24x and the buffer level bar is never full... is the the buffer level supposed to be 100% or is there some setting i need to change to make the read speed faster?

Make sure you don't have alot of other things running on your computer. That'll slow it down. I use DVD Decrypter all the time and rarely does the buffer level move at all. I'm quite surprised when it does. I don't believe that's your problem. My drive tops out at about 16x speed using Decrypter but is capable of faster. My movies are ripped in appx. 15-30 mins. depending on the size of the movie but 0.8x! I poured salt on a slug once and it moved faster than that. Tell us what your specs are for your system and maybe we can give you better assistance.
