If that's too much, then use the following graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150252 That saves $45 off your initial cost (though only 15 in the long run) Other than this, dropping specs further will become harmful for performance to a significant degree, or you'll have to lose the quad core. You could potentially use this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150275 Which saves you a load of cash, even more after rebates. It's a solid card, though obviously not as fast as the proper 8800s.
Quad cores are starting to become useful for games now (bear in mind that gaming is usually the most demanding of all things to do with a PC), especially for Supreme Commander and Assassins Creed.
what other cards are there both http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150275 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150252 seem to have bad reviews for being very loud. is that a problem with all cards or just these?
I don't own either card personally, but unless the fan speed is manually forced the 8800GT is supposed to be quiet. As for the 8800GS I couldn't say, the only person I know who owns one has the Asus version, which is pretty quiet. That's a cooler I do have on my card, and it's pretty decent, despite what it looks like.
well is it possable to just change prosessors and drafic cards iin my bought cpu i have a gateway 720ge 1G ram up to 4G 250g hard drive with intell P4. that way i could save money on case psu case ect....
