I have been wanting a laptop for some time but they are so expenisive, so I decided I want to make a laptop out of desktop parts, I don't care how thick or heavy it is. I'm just having trouble finding a thinner case. I would like one that does not have room for PCI cards seeing as that is why they make the cases so thick. Any advice on where to get thiner cases or have one made would be awesome.
just out of curiosity here, but what are you going to do for a video card, cpu cooler, psu, etc? that is another reason why the cases are thick is because of all that stuff? and laptops arent all that expensive now-a-days. just wait for bestbuy or some place to have a sale, can usually get a 'decent' one for like 550 or so.
this isnt going to be a heavy duty computer, video card can be onboard, cpu coolers arent too tall and ive got a really small PSU. and i dont have 500, i built my computer for 350 and im looking to convert it
