    Intel CPU Core i7 970
    Kingston Ram (KVR1333D3N9/2G) DDR3, 2GB (x3)
    Gainward GTX 560 Ti
    Asus P6X58D-E
    Antec NSK-4000II-EU (without PSU)
    Samsung Harddisk 1TB, Sata2
    Samsung DVD Burner Bulk, sata
Corsair PSU Gaming Series 800W 80+
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
This is what my dealer sent me, an offer..

I was thinking about changing the CPU to an Intel Core i7 2600K instead, since I read in a couple of reviews, that it outperforms the 970 and at the same time, it's cheaper. Would that require a change in motherboard? If so, what motherboard would you recommend? (Particularly concerned about the H67-chipset, I read somewhere that SLI wouldn't be an option with that chipset, and it is with the x58..)
Also want to change the cabinet to a NZXT Phantom, more fans and it's bigger ;)

Edits: Typos, correcting senseless stuff etc.

find the LGA number (1366, 1155) of both chips to find out if you need a different mobo or not. im pretty sure x58 has limited pci-e lanes. look for if mobo is x16, x16 or x16, x8 or x8, x8 for SLI.
