The prices are in CAN$ and there is a tax of 13% added on. Shipping about $30.
Also if you see any incompatible parts pls. mention them.
I would really appreciate your help.
    Thanks

That CPU cooler wont work with that CPU.

Everything looks pretty good. I would switch the CPU to a Q6600, the PSU to a Corsair 550VX, and the CPU cooler to a Freezer 7 Pro.

Ya, I forgot to post the link.
But I found some Reviews and they were all bad.
I'll take a look at the case you suggest. I really don't care about bells and whistles.
    Thnx once again.

It's not about the bells and whistles. it's about the general layout of the case and how well it can cool. The CM690 is very good in that regard.

I don't think I phrased that very well. I was referring to the other one which had a lot of lights etc.
The best price I could find for the CM90 was at NX Source in B.C.
$79 plus shipping ($10) and of course GST
Direct Canada wanted an arm and a leg for shipping.
There is a big difference in the price of the Core2 Duo and the Q6600.
Is it worth the extra bucks now or would I just be wishing I'd gone for the Q6600 in the future if I don't get it now?
I missed out on the deal for RAM so will have to look around some more.
    What brand do you prefer?
BTW, I just noticed that TigerDirect.ca has a special on a 1T Hitachi hard drive for $99.99. I don't know about Hitachi's computer stuff but if it's any good the price is great.
Thnx again for all your help.

If you plan on keeping this computer for sometime then you will regret not getting a Q6600. Also I prefer Corsair for memory.

Looks like a pretty good deal to me. Actually it will probably run at cas4 too.

It's the latency of the ram. The lower the better. That ram is rated for cas5, but it will probably run at cas4.

I just ordered everything and took your suggestions except for the box. I couldn't get one at a decent price today so went back to the Enermax.
The total came to $951 incl. tx. and shipping. Then I should get $75 back in rebates.
Thanks again, you've been a big help to me.

No problem dude. The enermax isn't too shabby. Not on par with the CM690, but you should be good.

OK, I got the CM690 finally. At least the order has been accepted so maybe it was just a glitch when I tried to get it before.
