im guessing your talking about a movie? SVCD/VCD? then it doesent belong in this forum, technically it belongs in the SVCD forum what kinda file is it?
oh! no Im not reffering to any VCD / SVCD crap lol. After ripping & transcoding using XviD, my file size is say 800MB? Now without splitting the file can I overburn it onto a CDR of 700MB? If so, what is the max overburn that can be done. thx in adv. njoy!
Burn using the (S)VCD template and you'll be fine. A bit more in-depth: http://www.hazza.dsl.pipex.com/faq.htm#OVERBURN
hmm, overburning a Divx file? do you mean for storage? or for watching it on a Divx player? but for the time being untill you reply you can check out these links for a bit more info on general overburning http://vladd44.com/overburn.html thats a quote taken from this page http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_oversize.shtml#80 Minutes CD-R's http://users.pandora.be/erik.deppe/cdrmedia/overburning.htm lol, i hope these help you out a bit for now...
My bad. I'm just blind. As an XviD file you'll probaby be limited to 730MB via overburning. Now if you use 800MB or 900MB cds, thats a diffferent story. http://www.hazza.dsl.pipex.com/faq.htm#OVERBURN
thx Praetor! and all the kewl people who helped me out. These links r good education material. thx. njoy!
