Nero or any other app capable of burning data to DVD's. Just start an iso data compilation and drag them over.

If you have nero download nero vision and it well convert the avi file to dvd format then you can burn it with nero.

    No one mentioned converting.

What exactly doesn't work about it?

    hi rws3,
I'm afraid you'd better convert your avi file to dvd first, and then burn the converted DVD to DVD-R.
By way, you can download the winavi video converter from http://www.winavi.com to have a try!

As indicated, you will need to convert your AVI files to a DVD compliant format (e.g. VOB).

There are quite a number of programs that will do this - check the software tab at top of this page. There are also guides availabe by clicking on the guides tab.

For starters you could try a free program - VSO DivXtoDVD v0.5.2b
