I have been trying to burn mpgs and avi's that I downloaded. I want to put it on a dvd-r. I have dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, and the NERO burning rom demo. (I didn't buy it) I really need help because I have about 50 gigabytes of mpg and avi files that I want to put on DVDs so I can watch them on my tv. I am a beginner to all this DVD stuff and really need help.

    THANKS

What everyone is saying is this: In order to watch your files on TV from a DVD , you need to convert the files into a DVD compatible format. Using one of the above methods. The ony files that can be watched without converting first are DIVX files, and then you need a special DVD player that accepts and plays back DIVX files.
