Hi I recently got a new computer with 2 drives specifically because my dad wanted me to make DVDs for him. I tried in the past and failed miserably so I thought it would work this time round and I keep getting errors. Maybe I'm doing some of the basics wrong or maybe it's something extensive I don't know! Usually the DMA (direct memory access) mode needs to be "on" but since these are installed on a RAID controller it may not be reporting correctly to Nero. Do you have any normal/nonRAID SATA or IDE ports (depending on what type of burners you have) to which you can connect these drives? Otherwise check the transfer mode for the communication channels these drives are on. You might try other recordable media like +R or -R just to see if it's the media. Use Verbatim if you can find it. Try a different burning engine like ImgBurn (free) to troubleshoot Nero as the possible source of your problems. Use whatever authoring software you desire to create an ISO image file or a folder of DVD files. If you have a folder of DVD files use the Build mode of ImgBurn to create an ISO image and then the Write mode to burn the ISO image to a DVD.
