Having quite a few issues when trying to burn to these new dvds I bought. I purchased the following (3 spindles of 100 as well):

    MEMOREX DVD-R 16X 4.7GB 120 MIN

I didn't have any issues with these:

    MEMOREX DVD-RW 4X 4.7GB 120 MIN (burned 54 dvds)

I attached two log files to this post. The first one isn't with an updated NERO. I updated NERO and got the same error on the second burn. At this point, I don't know what else to do. There's no updated firmware for my drive. I'm using a laptop so I doubt its a cable issues. I had no problems before.

Also, I cleaned all "Roxio" programs since someone recommended it on another site. I've tried using different speeds too. My burner is capable of burning 8x but due to coasters, I lowered the speed hoping to fix the problem. Hopefully, we can find a remedy. Thank you for your time by the way.

Your using X16 disc. Your burner is able to burn up to maximum X8. Without a firmware update, your drive might not be able to recognize the newer media(X16 speeds). The discs that you are using are made by Ritek- not the best out there, but not the worse either.
Your burner can't read them properly.
You could try and get some Verbatims, better discs, but without a firmware update, might still have same result. the best choice would probably be to get some X8 discs.

    Aww . . .

No wonder. Thank you for the quick reply and informative feedback. Its truly appreciated. I'll try picking up a new set of discs. I got these three spindles for $75. Disappointed that I won't be able to use them considering the phenomenal price. Oh well . . .

That was $75 for all three spindles, right?

Yeah. 300 total DVDs. They are on sale at the moment for around 22 each.
