I downloaded a show in SHN format. I converted it then burned it and it plays fine in my "cheap" cd player. Why will it not play in my BOSE system? Thanks for your help!

What did you convert it to? Did you create an Audio-CD or a Data-CD?

I think it was wav. I used Nero to "burn a cd playable in any cd player" so im sure it was audio. Funny thing is that it plays in other cd players just not BOSE. didnt know if they had some sort of thing to prevent playing burned cd's.

do other CDRs play in your bose stereo? If not then maybe it just can't play them. For example the first few DVD players Sony made wouldn't play audio CDRs. have you checekd the manual for it?
