burned dvd freezes on screen help!

    Hi
    please could someone help.this has happened a couple of times now .I have downloaded a movie then converted it using winavi then used dvd shrink before using nero to burn the disc then when i go to play the dvd on my dvd player everything seems fine until maybe around 30 minutes into the film and the picture freezes but the dialogue continues.

    Firstly what blank media are you using,& your burn speed

    sounds like another victim of bad media...
    does the file play fine on the pc?

    @hamillio, I cannot answer your question in shoutbox. The "media" I refer to is the Brand of blank discs you are using in your burns such as Memorex (which are horrible) Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden etc.

    thanx just got your reply.
    so you think the problem is all down to the discs i am using. ok cheers. what i have noticed though is that when i dload a movie and it is in two files or more the part where it freezes is the part of the file where one stops and the next one starts. any ideas on that?
