Hello I followed the instructions on http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avi_to_dvd_avi2dvd.cfm on how to use avi2dvd and then dvd decrypter to convert an avi file so that I could burn it onto a DVD. The resulting DVD I burned would not play well in my DVD player with my TV. The sound was OK but the video kept jumping. The burned DVD does play in my computer, but the subtitles are missing. I am wondering if I did something wrong or if there is another program I could try to use?
Same problem, i followed the guide and the dvd won't play on any dvd players. I put it in the ps2 and it recognizes it but it tells me, "TV system doesn't match." But on the computer it plays perfect
It is possible that you converted the avi to a PAL DVD and you need NTSC, or vice-versa. You would have to convert it to the proper format. Read this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/603917 About the subtitles, I don't know how avi2dvd works, never used it, if it supports subtitle, but DVD Flick (free) supportst subs. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/552742
