Whenever I burn DVDs with Nero the DVD will play on one of my DVD players but not on the other one. The other one displays an error message "Cannot play disc". I have burned other DVDs on the same media with different programs that do not cause the particular DVD player any problems. Is Nero doing something different that is incompatible with the one DVD player?
could be bad media or something else. post LAST section of your Nero log which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar.

@DrDiesel - not much wrong there - - my word, that's out of biblucal times, 6.6.0.15 is latest, update to that! - 1.1A of your firmware is here - http://sony.storagesupport.com/dvdrw/firmware.htm#700 - hopefully these should be genuine.. - maybe booktype those +R's for better compatibility
Thanks a bunch! Upgraded the firmware and Nero and the disc is compatible now! Not only that but it burns twice as fast even with 2-pass VBR. Thanks again.
