Burned mp3 files won't play in any audio player

    Hi,wondering if anyone can help me out on this. I burned a load of mp3's using Nero 7 premium on to a cd-r using the make mp3 audio disc option, and when I went to test it in any mp3 player there is no sound, and I get messages saying it's not the correct file type or the codec used to compress the file is not supported. Strangely enough, they played in Nero's audio player and in WMP 11 b4 I started the burn process. Anyone any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I now have a nice coaster and don't want to convert my set of CD-R's to the same fate. :)

    reburn the mp3s as data using imgburn
    nero may have made an error when crating an mp3 disc

    Hi, I appreciate the reply. I downloaded Imgburn and while getting familiar with it I noticed it was able to tell me there was a firmware update for my DVD reader. Excellent start ! Cheers for the tip...
